I've spent 23 years inside traditional public, charter, and private schools — as a classroom teacher, school leader, instructional coach, and academic consultant. I've designed learning systems for school districts, led statewide initiatives, and spent years coaching academic leaders through the kind of complex change that actually moves student outcomes.

I'm also a mother of two children in private school, a licensed real estate professional, and someone who genuinely understands the weight of the decisions families make. I created The Academic Compass because I kept seeing the same gap everywhere — families who needed expert guidance but couldn't access it. This business exists to close that gap. One family at a time.
